The Edward Luedke Memorial Scholarship
The Edward Luedke Memorial Scholarship was created in 1993, which awards funds annually to a high school graduate (or graduates) who has demonstrated academic excellence and will be continuing his or her education in the fields of health or medicine.

Application Process

Applicants must fill out the application and attach a copy of their high school transcript. If interested please email us at ()

Applicants must provide two letters of reference, including one from a teacher and one from a person other than a relative (e.g., a friend, coach, guidance counselor) in signed, sealed envelopes.

Applicants should provide a personal statement in which they tell the Foundation about themselves, their experiences (in school, work and extracurricular activities) and their future plans, including how this scholarship can help them achieve personal and professional goals.

Scholarship Criteria

Applicants must be a high school senior planning to pursue further education in the health or medical fields.

Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.

While grades are important, the Foundation also considers the whole person, including factors such as employment history, extracurricular activities and interests, and community involvement. In addition, the Foundation considers how the applicant plans to meaningfully contribute to society by pursuing a career in health or medicine.
